At the Algonquin Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry, the safety and wellness of
our neighbors in need, staff, and volunteers are very important to us. We are
constantly monitoring the COVID-19 evolving situation and we're following the
Guidelines of the CDC to keep everyone safe.
Normal Operation hours are in place; however, in order to support the social
distancing guidance from the CDC, we will be modifying our distribution process as
*Sign-in as usual to include a cell phone number or License Plate #
*Please wait in your car, we will text you or come to your car when your food is
*Sign-in sheets will be pulled more frequently to allow us time to prepare their
*When your food is ready, we ask that you come to the exit door to pick-up your
*All carts will be wiped down before we bring them back into the food pantry
The normal distribution process is targeted to resume Thursday, April 2nd, this is
subject to change based on CDC recommendations.
While reporting for your shift, your work will be concentrating on pre-packing
items for the clients during this time frame to include finalizing delivery to the
client at the exit door. If you are feeling sick, please stay home and call the pantry
to let us know.

Hours of Operation
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM and the 1st & 3rd Saturday of
the month from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Please plan to arrive at the Pantry by 11:00
AM to allow enough time to shop.
